On your computer
Everything about your work lives on your computer, in the app's own data folder:
- the list of projects — each one's folder, name, tags, host, site id and address, and the snapshot of what was last published;
- hosting credentials — the Netlify token, the Vercel token, the GitHub token — encrypted with the operating system's own protection (the keychain on a Mac), readable by this app and this user only, and never written into a project folder;
- the conversations with the AI built in, one file per project;
- the app's log and one log per project;
- the root certificate that local names' https rests on, its key readable by this user only.
Your project folders are ordinary folders. The app reads them to publish and to show you the site; it writes into them only what you asked for — the /deploy command, files the AI edits on your instruction — and one small marker file that lets the folder find its site again on another computer.
Publishing has no server of ours
A publish is your computer talking to Netlify's or Vercel's API directly, with your credential. Nothing is proxied through us and no copy of your files passes through anything of ours. The site sits in your account under your terms.
What the account knows
The account service exists for the account and nothing else about the work:
- who you are — the email you sign in with;
- what the AI built in cost, as a ledger, since that is billed to you;
- one row per published site holding the host, the host's own id for the site, and the address it answers on — so that "how many sites" means the same thing on every computer you sign in on.
Never a project's name, never a path, never a file. A removed project removes its row.
What is counted
The app records that it was opened and a short list of successful actions — a publish, a domain connected — so we know what is used. Unless you turn it off in Settings ("Share anonymous usage"), which asks once why we want it and then does as you say. Project names, paths, files, domains, addresses and account details are never part of what is sent, and the location of your computer is not recorded.
This website counts pageviews and download clicks without cookies, and never the answers in the Windows form.
Local names and your computer
A local name adds one line to your computer's hosts file and a root certificate to its trust store, both with your permission and both removed when the last name goes. The certificate is trusted on this computer only; its key never leaves it.
Removing everything
Remove a project in the app and it leaves the library; the folder stays yours. Settings → Reveal data opens the app's data folder; delete it and the app starts over. Sign out and the credential and the account's cached numbers go with it.
